Cumbria Wildlife Trust Grassland workshop

Claire Cornish is a grassland officer at the CWT and Ruth Dalton from the Farmer Network came to Farthwaite to look at the unimproved grasslands present. Three fields were inspected that had different management over time and we were able to see how these different management practices affected the species present. Species diversity is important not only for nature but for the different options available under SFI.
