Projects
Each valley and common is unique and requires an individual approach and plan to ensure sustainability and diversity, both agricultural and natural. A joined up approach recognises that changes on a large scale will provide significantly greater benefits for nature, farmers and the general public.
The 2020 UN Biodiversity Summit highlighted the global issue of biodiversity loss and climate change, among many others such as, agriculture, food waste and inequalities. 2019 UK legislation requires the UK to be a net zero carbon emitter by 2050. This necessitates any industries emitting carbon to fully off-set their emissions through various means such as, natural carbon sinks, e.g., forestry, peat and soils. Our projects will reflect these global issues at a local scale.
